ROSHN Group, a Public Investment Fund company and the Kingdom’s leading constructor of integrated, urban communities, will showcase its real estate vision at this weekend’s F1 stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah.
As a Founding Partner of F1 in the Kingdom, ROSHN Group played a major role in bringing the first-ever F1 race to Saudi Arabia in 2021. This year’s event is the third successive F1 weekend sponsored by the company as part of a multi-year deal which has helped to establish the Kingdom on the global motorsport map – as well as allow ROSHN Group to delight fans with unique trackside experiences at the fastest street circuit in the Formula 1 calendar.
“As an innovative real estate developer, we share many of the same qualities as F1, from precision engineering and community-building to our commitment to cutting-edge sustainable technologies and the preservation of the environment. It’s been a privilege to bring world’s highest level of single-seat, open-wheel, and open-cockpit racing to the Kingdom,” said ROSHN Group CEO, David Grover.
ROSHN Group’s sponsorship of F1 stems from its commitment to enhancing the quality of life of Saudis through the provision of sports, entertainment, and cultural activities. Key ROSHN Group sponsorships over the past two years include LIV Golf, ROSHN Saudi League, Riyadh Season, F1, and the Riyadh Marathon. The Group is also a significant contributor to the Saudi Green Initiative through the ambitious tree and shrub planting scheme being deployed across its communities, and has backed other significant social initiatives, such as the Zahra Breast Cancer Association.
The company will have a presence at the 2023 event over all three days of qualifying and racing, from March 17 – 19, welcoming visitors to the FanZone where they can enjoy a range of exclusive activities, including testing their skills on a F1 simulator. ROSHN Group’s social responsibility program, YUHYEEK, will add to the Fanzone’s hospitality offerings by hosting “Ana Juz’a (‘I am Part’), the collaborative sculpture by Saudi artists that was one of the highlights of the 2022 Bisat A-Reeh exhibition, the revenue from which was directed to fund and support Naraak NGO in their health services. Visitors to the FanZone will also have a unique opportunity to experience ROSHN Group’s vision of modern, sustainable living, with access to interiors inspired by its ALAROUS development in Jeddah, which is bringing 18,000 residential units and an array of life-enhancing amenities to the northern part of the city.
