Manahil International, the authorized agent for Nissan cars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a Mohamed Yousuf Naghi & Brothers Group Company, announced the launch of an initiative to support Saudi motorsports talents through sponsoring the Saudi young woman, Merryhan Al-Baz, who will participate in Rally Jameel this March.
Manahil International took its decision to sponsor this Saudi talent out of its belief in supporting national programs that serve the community and that comes within the company’s marketing strategy. One of these programs is supporting this talent that is preparing for its first participation in the Rally Jameel this March for a period of 4 days, starting from the city of Al-Ula in the north of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reaching to Qassim Province.
Manahil International’s exclusive sponsorship of Merryhan Al-Baz includes providing a Nissan Patrol to drive in this competition, as well as providing an additional car for training. Furthermore, all support services shall be provided before and during the rally from the roving maintenance team that will accompany her throughout the rally period.
Bandar BinOthman, Head of Marketing for Nissan- Manahil, expressed his happiness for launching these initiatives to support young Saudi talents, and he gave a speech during the signature of the sponsorship contract, saying, “Merryhan Al-Baz is a Saudi talent with a promising future in the world of motorsports. As the authorized agent Nissan cars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Nissan Manahil is proud to employ this initiative and develop it to empower and encourage Saudi women to engage in new and distinctive fields.”
He added, “We are working at Nissan Manahil to implement many similar initiatives in the future, following the company’s strategic plans in the field of community service, empowering women, supporting youth, and raising the quality of life by integrating sports into people’s lives in the Saudi Arabia, within the framework of the Saudi Vision 2030.”
For her part, Merryhan Al-Baz expressed her happiness to Nissan Manahil for the care and support it provided to her in her journey to achieve what she aspires to, and concluded her words with profound thanks and deep appreciation of the company’s management.
It is worth noting that Merryhan Al-Baz, who has a great passion for motor world, is the first talented Saudi woman to work in the field of car maintenance. She has gained experience that she will employ to raise awareness of the clients of Nissan- Manahil through educational campaigns during the sponsorship period, in addition to representing the company during the period of the race and achieving her ambitions in the world of motorsports by the support of Saudi Nissan Manahil.
