As part of its existing partnership with the Charitable Society for Orphans Care (Binaa), Aljabr Trading Company announced about the fact that it is a strategic partner for the Capability Development Initiative launched by Binaa Society under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, and with the active participation of many relevant official authorities (such as the Ministry of Resources and Social Development, Emirate of the Eastern Province, National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector and the Specialized Council for Orphan Associations). The Capability Development Initiative included an introductory exhibition held with the participation of 40 associations interested in the affairs and care of orphans in the Kingdom, in which they presented their experiences in the field of care and support for orphans.
The introductory exhibition was held in Al-Dana Beach Resort in Al-Khobar and was specially equipped to achieve the objectives for which it was established. However, the participation of Aljabr Trading Company as well as Aljabr Finance Company was distinctive and considered as extension of the previous cooperation that resulted in the success of the Taxi Project Initiative aimed at improving the income of the beneficiary families and finding a way of transportation for them, in addition to developing, qualifying and providing mothers and children with the life skills necessary to practice work through Vehicle Routing Applications. However, 104 beneficiaries have benefited from this initiative so far.
Regarding the sponsorship of the Capability Development Initiative by Aljabr Trading Company, Mr. Wail Baghdadi, Chief Operating Officer of Aljabr Trading Company said: “We are proud of our relationship and cooperation with Charitable Society for Orphans Care (Binaa), which has achieved positive results that are in line with the company’s social responsibility message in serving this precious category. As a continuation of this cooperation, our participation came as a strategic partner of the Capability Development Initiative, which is considered as a rich field of exchange of experiences and expertise due to the presence of a large number of authorities caring for orphans in our kingdom, which reflects the extent of solidarity and social cohesion that prevails in our society, which are based on our true religion and what we were brought up on in this good country”.
