Saudi musical legend Abdul Majeed Abdullah will be performing in AlUla for the first time in a concert taking place in AlUla Outdoor Concert Venue on February 10, 2023.
Abdul Majeed Abdullah Night – presented by Arab National Bank (anb), is expected to be the biggest Arabic musical event in AlUla to date. To accommodate the tickets’ high demand, the outdoor venue is expected to fit 2500 attendees.
Abdul Majeed, who is one of the most well-known musicians of this generation, will be performing some of his most well-known songs under the stars in one of Saudi Arabia’s most exciting destinations.
Abdul Majeed commented: “It is always a privilege to sing in my country and between my beloved fans. I am thrilled to perform in AlUla, the historical city where the art meets culture, the ancient civilisations and the beauty of the nature. I look forward to meeting my fans in an unforgettable night.”
The announcement comes after a series of intimate concerts in which some of the most popular names of regional and international music scene have performed in AlUla, including Iraqi star Kadhim AlSahir, musical maestro Andrea Bocelli, Lebanese pianist Guy Manoukian, and Spanish violinist virtuoso Ara Malikian.
Abdul Majeed Abdullah Night – presented by Arab National Bank (anb), will coincide with the Arabian Leopard Week, a unique event taking place in AlUla as part of AlUla Moments calendar of events on February 10 and 11, to mark the efforts taken by Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) to save the Arabian leopards – listed as critically endangered species – and return them back to their natural habitat in Sharaan Nature Reserve.
