RED SEA GLOBAL HOSTS ITS FIRST MARKET ENTRY EVENTS IN UAE

Red Sea Global (RSG), the multi-project developer behind two of the world’s most ambitious regenerative tourism destinations, The Red Sea and Amaala, has hosted two exclusive high-profile trade and media market entry events in the UAE bringing together key decision-makers in travel trade and key media titles to create awareness about The Red Sea as it will be ready to welcome first guests in 2023.

The Red Sea destination was introduced to over a 150 of select group of luxury travel agents, online travel agents, leading airlines operators and other prominent industry stakeholders alongside key journalists and editors.

The exclusive event offered an opportunity for attendees to get acquainted with the spectacular destination – The Red Sea and get a closer look at the grandeur and scale of the exceptional luxury destination.

Representing RSG at the event was Loredana Pettinati, Senior Travel Trade Director at RSG, the event kicked off with a presentation offering a visual insight of The Red Sea that is well underway gearing up to welcome its first guests this year. With a combination of unique experiences and attractions expanding over desert dunes, canyons, volcanoes, heritage sites, monuments, exquisite islands, underwater and some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and resorts, the destination aims to set a new standard that will redefine the meaning of luxury and regenerative tourism.

“Authenticity is at the core of RSG. We aim to develop memorable journeys and personalized experiences. GCC’s luxury travel segment is growing at an admirable pace and exhibiting immense promise,” says Pettinati. “Our intention is to engage the GCC market with authentic, immersive, and innovative storytelling that rightfully paints a sublime picture of The Red Sea. The market entry in Abu Dhabi and Dubai has been a fitting start to a vibrant journey for the destination in the UAE” she adds.

The Red Sea has already passed significant milestones and work is on track to welcome the first guests in 2023, when the first hotels will open. Phase one, which includes 16 hotels in total, will complete in 2024.

Upon completion in 2030, The Red Sea will comprise 50 resorts, offering up to 8,000 hotel rooms and more than 1,000 residential properties across 22 islands and six inland sites. The destination will also include an international airport, luxury marinas, golf courses, entertainment, and leisure facilities.
