The highly anticipated Emirates Dubai 7s festival from 1st – 3rd December 2022 is launching a brand-new fun fitness competition for teams of four people of all fitness levels-WODON3.
WODON3 caters to fitness enthusiasts of all levels – from novice and social athletes looking to push their limits, to elite athletes looking to be crowned champions at the end of the festival. Athletes must enter as part of mixed teams made up of four athletes – two males and two females per team – and can choose from three divisions to enter to compete: the entry-level Social Athlete Division, the intermediate-level Open Athlete Division and the top-tier Elite Athlete Division. Each division is developed to test each participant’s strength, power, speed, and endurance with a range of workouts between 10 and 30 minutes. Fitness challenges include deadlift, rope climb, sandbag, rowing, skiing, biking, running amongst many others and the WODON3 webpage provides clear guidance on which category is most suitable for your fitness level.
Participants can register their whole team here for a fee of AED 1,800++, or AED 450++ per team member, which includes the participation in WODON3, and full access to soak up the atmosphere of the three-day Emirates Dubai 7s festival including matches, headliner concerts, kids areas, entertainment and delicious festival fare.
As Dubai competes to become one of the worlds’ most active cities, and nears the end of Dubai Fitness Challenge 2022, WODON3 offers a final chance to round off the year on a health and fitness high. In partnership with MARCHON and Blk Box fitness, WODON3 joins the Invitational Tournament favourites of Rugby 7s, 10s, Netball presented by Nakheel Community Management and Cricket presented by Dulsco, featuring male and female participants from 32 countries.
With over 100,000 fans expected to attend this year’s festival, fans and visitors can look forward to an exciting weekend of music alongside the rugby action on Pitch 1 and 2, in addition to world-renowned superstar DJs – Cuban Brothers, Gorgon City, and Craig David presents TS5 – headlining Frequency on 8, a visual and audio experience and Beats on Two, a unique bar concept which overlooks all the action on Pitch 2.
