Christmas and New Year  are a feeling and what better way to ignite your festive spirit than with  indulgent feasts, beach parties, cocktail competitions, sunset yoga and neon-lit evenings on the dance floor.

Phew, We Made the List!

There’s one list you’ll want to be on, and that’s Santa’s ‘nice’ list. Celebrate with us, if you made the list! To kick off the most wonderful time of the year, W Maldives will host a Glow Parade where guests can show off their best outfits and parade down the tropical runway. Dance to beats from W Maldives’ DJ and live band as the resort illuminates the W Festive Tree and share a range of signature cocktails and bites.

Eat, Drink and Be Merry

Celebrate Christmas Eve with an island twist at the Beach Market. As the ocean laps the shore, sit back and relax to a decadent evening of ultimate indulgence with classic festive dishes curated by W Culinary Rockstars. With delicious cocktails in hand carefully crafted by W Mixologists, enjoy the evening’s entertainment and soak up the festive atmosphere at FIRE Beach.

Once Santa has arrived, presents have been opened and photos have been taken, guests can join the GET WET beach party on Wave Beach. Packed with Santa hats, festive games, live cooking stations and free flowing drinks, an afternoon of fun is guaranteed.

When 2022 Becomes 2023

To bid farewell to 2022, feast your way into the New Year with an exceptional spread of local and international flavors. Guests will travel the world with every bite, as they reflect on the year that’s been and celebrate the night away. W Maldives’ DJ and live band will keep the tunes rolling throughout the evening to wrap up the last moments of 2022.

Mark New Year’s Day with a splash as you plunge into a foam pool party, with the right mix of DJ music to amp up the mood, or enjoy the moments with a glass of bubbly in hand- it’s everything you need on January 1.

On  January 3,  a Robinson Crusoe island escapade awaits, complete with a Maldivian castaway sunset bash with nibbles, drinks and W music. On January 5, guests are invited to get their hands dirty with an ocean-to-table fresh seafood expereince, with the perfect pairing of cocktails and spirits at SIP and FISH.

Those looking to kick start 2023 on the ocean zone in luxury, can book W Maldives’ own private yacht, ESCAPE, for a day cruise or to watch the first sunset of the year- an ideal option for those who wish to have an intimate celebration with loved ones.

To keep the silly season in check, Fuel Your Workout will be holding activities and fitness sessions on the daily. From sunset yoga, aqua fit, night snorkelling to boxing, dancing, trampoline pump, Pilates and Muay Thai, there are plenty of heart-racing workouts to burn off all that indulging.

All is Bright with the Ready, Set, Glow! Package

From December 20 to January 10, guests can book the special Ready, Set, Glow! package featuring curated festive activities. Along with luxurious and stylish rooms, the package includes a festive welcome amenity, daily breakfast, one festive dining event, festive activities and unlimited use of non-motorized water sports. It also features W’s on demand ‘Whatever/Whenever’ service where W promises to try and deliver whatever guests request to their room (as long as it’s legal).
