GENESIS MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA PARTNERS WITH FIRST MOTORS TO BECOME THE BRONZE SPONSORS OF BAHRAIN INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW 2022

Bahrain International Airshow 2022 has signed a sponsorship agreement with First Motors, the exclusive partner and distributor of Genesis cars in the Kingdom of Bahrain in partnership with Genesis Middle East & Africa, to be the official vehicle supplier for the event, held at Sakhir Air Base from November 9 to 11, 2022.

As the official vehicle supplier, Genesis Middle East and Africa will be providing 85 operation cars with its G90 and G80 luxury sedans. There will also be a Genesis stand operating during the event where visitors can see first-hand the brand’s latest models, including the flagship G90 sedan, and the GV70 SUV.

The event will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Country, and organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Royal Bahraini Air Force, in cooperation with Farnborough International.

The sponsorship agreement was signed by Nawaf Khalid Al Zayani, Managing Director of First Motors, and Yousef Mohamed Mahmoud, Group Director of Bahrain International Airshow, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, Minister of Transport and Communications.

The signing forms a part of the efforts of the organizing committee of Bahrain International Airshow headed by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the personal representative of H.M. the King, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the Bahrain International Airshow, and based on His Highness’s directives to involve the commercial sector in global events that are hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Excellency the Minister, Mr. Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, expressed his pride for the support received from First Motors, with their participation in the event setting an example of the pivotal role played by international brands for events in the Kingdom.

His Excellency pointed out that ten years have passed since the distinction of the first edition of the Bahrain International Air Show in 2010, and that the sixth edition of the event will provide increased opportunity in helping to form new relationships, exchange ideas and fruitful cooperation between businesses at the show, helping to support Bahrain’s focus of attracting investments and further development of its economic sectors.

“We are proud to support such an important event that raises the name of the Kingdom in front of international audiences and enhances the aviation sector in the Kingdom. Our sponsorship of the exhibition showcases our commitment in supporting the Kingdom of Bahrain, in line with the Kingdom’s Economic Vision 2030.” Mr. Nawaf Khaled Al-Zayani, Managing Director of First Motors, said.
