Petromin-Nissan participates in the Electric Vehicle Show (EV Auto Show 2022), the largest and most prominent event of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. The event is held in the Prince Sultan Grand Hall at the AlFaisaliyah Hotel in Riyadh, from 1 to 3 November 2022 in cooperation with major international and local companies.
The Show takes place amid the rapid changes witnessed by the electric vehicles sector at the global and local levels, as it is a promise of a clean future free of harmful emissions. Furthermore, it aims to raise awareness on the importance of electric vehicles.
During EV Auto Show 2022, a number of conferences will be held bringing together specialists in the electric vehicles sector, including government and investment agencies and major companies. Such conferences aims to laying the foundations required for the development of the electric vehicles industry in the Saudi Arabia, exchanging views on the future requirements and challenges facing Saudi Arabia in providing the infrastructure for electric vehicles, in addition to activating the role of the private sector to provide new job opportunities in the sector.
Petromin-Nissan had a prominent presence in this exhibition, as it displayed the electric crossover SUV, ARIYA 2022. In this regard, Mr. Ahmed Jumah, Managing director of Petromin-Nissan, said, “EV Auto Show Riyadh 2022 is the most prominent and most important event in the industry and it is expected to become a major event in the automotive sector’s agenda in the region. It brings together under one roof the biggest names in the electric vehicles sector in the world.”
Regarding the dates of launching Nissan electric cars in the Saudi market, Petromin-Nissan management indicated, “We are working with Nissan Saudi Arabia to provide the latest models that are in line with the Saudi market and we are fully aware that the market is witnessing a different transformation stage towards electric mobility.”
Finally, it is worth noting that EV Auto Show Riyadh 2022 has contributed to accelerating the transition towards a sustainable, low-carbon future, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030, which urges building a competitive economy and an infrastructure based on clean and sustainable energy sources.
