Noon.com partners with Catmosphere to support animal conservation through Catwalk initiative

Noon.com, the Middle East’s leading online shopping destination, is thrilled to announce its partnership with Catmosphere’s global Catwalk 2022initiative. The walk of up to seven kilometers, which will take place on November 5th, supports big cat conservation while encouraging healthy lifestyle practices, and will be open for registration to millions of people via noon.com and the Catwalk website.

HRH Princess Reema Bandar Al-Saud founded Catmosphere in 2021 to raise awareness about all big cats threatened by habitat loss, and it is supported by the world’s leading wild cat conservation organization, Panthera, as well as the International Olympic Committee, Special Olympics, TAFISA, and the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU). The initiative encourages communities to prioritize their collective well-being alongside animal conservation.

Millions of customers in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt can register for the Catwalk initiative, which is free and open to all, via noon.com. Participants of all abilities can participate in a walk of up to seven kilometers on their own anywhere in the world, or join an organized walk. When signing up, participants will be asked to dedicate their walk to one of seven cats: leopard, puma, lion, snow leopard, tiger, cheetah, or jaguar.

Ahmed Gadouri, General Manager, noon KSA: “We are proud to support an initiative that is closely aligned with Vision 2030’s goals of a vibrant, and healthy society. By encouraging our communities and partners to get involved in important community awareness initiatives like Catwalk, we hope that millions of people are inspired to lead healthier lifestyles with a greater focus on preserving our natural habitats.”

Malak Al Kaud, Deputy Campaign Manager at Catmosphere, explains: “The positive intention for your wellbeing starts at home by addressing your own personal health, while connecting to and appreciating the environment is the first step on the path to taking action to save it. We are grateful that noon is supporting Catwalk and helping raise awareness so that more people can learn about big cat conservation and wellbeing, and show their commitment by registering and participating in Catwalk 2022.”
