NICHOLAS CUOMO JOINS DOUBLETREE BY HILTON RESORT & SPA MARJAN ISLAND AS EXECUTIVE CHEF

DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island has appointed Nicholas Cuomo as Executive Chef at the resort.

With a passion for down-to-earth and healthy cooking, Chef Cuomo has over 20 years’ experience in leading hotels, restaurants and food manufacturing facilities across Europe and the Middle East. He joins the resort from Emirates Golf Club where he was Executive Chef since 2015 and was awarded Pro Chef Awards – French Specialty Chef title in 2018 for Carine.

Nicholas Cuomo, newly appointed Executive Chef at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island said, “I have long admired the restaurants at the resort – as a chef you always have an extra level of appreciation for what is served on your plate. Cooking is all about people, no matter what culture, whether it’s in the dining room or in the kitchen. I’m excited to discover the team’s talents and to create new experiences for our guests together.” 

Set on Marjan Island and facing a 650-meter private beach, DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island offers 13 dining options across the premise. From Turkish and Lebanese at Meze, Italian at Vespa to Asian cuisine at Sanchaya and classic European at Brasserie, the resort boasts a range of restaurants and cuisines.

As Executive Chef, Cuomo will be responsible for overseeing all 13 establishments, maximising business efficiency, improving service standards and delivering unique and memorable experiences.
