Palmer Digital Group Charges Forward with Smart Charging and Display Solutions at ChargeExpo and EUEC 2022

Palmer Digital Group, specialists in custom indoor and outdoor digital kiosks, display enclosures and drive-thru digital menu boards, will take its message of powering convenient, enhanced charging experiences at EV stations to next month’s ChargeExpo, taking place October 5-7 at the Westin La Paloma Golf Resort and Spa in Tucson, Arizona along with EUEC 2022 (Energy, Utility and Environment Conference). Exhibiting at Booth 229, Palmer Digital Group (PDG) will demonstrate its plug-and-charge Level 2 EV enclosures with and without displays for the modern smart charging infrastructure. PDG will offer insights into how businesses can reduce operating costs and maintenance while opening new revenue streams with its Level 2 enclosures.

PDG’s Level 2 charging kiosks are ideal for businesses and local governments that don’t require energy levels for quick charges – the specific purpose of Level 3 fast chargers. PDG’s solutions allow high-draw locations, such as local municipality parking lots, supermarkets, and shopping malls to monetize their EV charging stations through advertising space and dynamic media content. PDG’s Level 2 EV enclosures can cleanly integrate big and bold 55-inch high-brightness displays that deliver high-quality content viewable in sunlight and inclement conditions. The same Level 2 PDG enclosures can be ordered without displays to support two simultaneous charges.

“Not all EV chargers have to be Level 3 fast chargers,” said Chuck Lewis, VP, Palmer Digital Group. “As one of the only ChargeExpo exhibitors showing a Level 2 EV vehicle charging kiosk, we look forward to helping decision makers learn how delivering dynamic advertising, personalized content and interactive services to consumers at EV charging stations can inspire purchases and return visits, and strengthen business and customer relationships.”

Lewis notes that with hundreds of electric utility companies expected to attend, ChargeExpo will provide insights on new developments in regulations and current EPA enforcement priorities relative to EV technology. This accentuates the significance of PDG’s relationship with IoTecha, a provider of hardware, software, and cloud services for the Electric Vehicle Smart Charging infrastructure. IoTecha manufacturers the Level 2 80-amp charger that PDG installs in its Level 2 EV enclosures. Kim Sarubbi, VP of Media for IoTecha, will also speak on the topic of “The Future of Retail is Electric, which takes place on Oct 7th between 10am and 12noon during session J5.

“PDG is and will continue to discuss EV charging regulations with industry thought leaders, and evolve its solutions to remain in compliance while helping end businesses reduce operating costs,” said Lewis. “That makes our strategic alliance with IoTecha an important relationship and a key competitive differentiator as a Level 2 kiosk supplier offering complete, pre-certified EV charging solutions that integrate cost-reducing services from IoTecha.”

Visitors to the PDG booth can see complete demonstrations of kiosks with and without displays, as well as the benefits that IoTecha’s integrated charging solutions offer. Benefits include integrated cloud services to support device management, system configuration, troubleshooting diagnostics, and remote software updates. PDG’s enclosures, built using high-impact steel, provide the additional benefits of durability in harsh climates and outdoor environments, while offering custom design elements including color, decals, and digital wraps.
