Hyundai Motor and Murooj plant 10000 trees to contribute to a green future for Saudi Arabia

Hyundai motor company and three KSA general distributors: Wallan Trading, Almajdouie Motors and Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors Co has partnered with semi-government agency Murooj, the Saudi vegetation cover development foundation, on a new sustainable project to plant 10,000 mangrove trees across Saudi Arabia. This campaign reflects the far-reaching impact of Hyundai’s sustainable initiative ‘continue’ on its community, and to further give back to Saudi Arabia, the biggest market in the MENA region.

As a part of the Saudi Green initiative, Hyundai motor and Murooj aim to contribute to the environmental protection, energy transformation and sustainability programs to work towards three overarching targets to achieve a common goal of a green future. This shared responsibility is dedicated to expanding the knowledge of the general public on the importance and vital role sustainability initiative plays towards a future fit for the next generation.

“This campaign revolves around one key message “Do More for Less emission” which encourage the idea of taking more sustainable steps and decisions to create less environmental footprints and help the plant heal from the long negative consequences of wrong and harm practices for the last decades.” Said Mr. Hyoungjung Im, the Vice President of Hyundai Motor Company.

Murooj, the executive partner, will be responsible for the implementation and managing of green lands in the county.

This campaign is conscious to be the beginning of more collaborating opportunities in strategic development in MENA to carryon Hyundai’s vision and commitment to sustainability.
