Millennium Place Mirdif, a unique chic urban concept located at Mirdif Hills Community by Dubai Investments Real Estate Co., has announced the opening of Batchig restaurant, an Armenian Lebanese Cuisine at its premises.
Located on the fifth floor of Millennium Place Mirdif, Batchig’s first franchise in Dubai, features indoor and outdoor seating with its light casual ambience that will bring around people of all ages to savour the high-quality homemade delicacies which redefine live Armenian and Lebanese cooking at a whole new level.
Batchig is created by Fig Holding, a creative culinary company in Lebanon that adopts the mission of conserving and spreading the Armenian cultural heritage in the region. It is a spacious and colourful place made of wood and marble, which makes a perfect place for a business lunch, a family gathering, or a romantic evening.
On this occasion, the Mirdif community and media were invited earlier to celebrate the soft opening of Batchig to experience the rich Armenian and Lebanese culinary traditions firsthand, and in the presence of Aline Kamakian, CEO and co-founder of FIG holding, and creator of Batchig concept.

In 2013, Batchig saw light and is the daughter of Mayrig, the first Armenian cuisine concept of Fig which has now branches in Lebanon, Dubai Riyadh, and Yerevan.

Bassam Bou Sleiman, General Manager of Millennium Place Mirdif, said: “I am delighted to announce the opening of the first Batchig restaurant that will take pride of place in Millennium Place Mirdif. A huge amount of care and attention has been paid to the aesthetic. I think it will stun our guests. The food, drinks and shisha atmosphere offer a journey of scents and tastes gathered from the east and west starting from the olive oil base to deliver healthy preparation methods.”
A food passionate, Aline Kamakian began her career as an insurance broker at the age of 18 to put herself into college. Graduated with a double major in Masters in Finance and Marketing. Aline never forgot her love for food but most importantly she never forgot her Armenian roots!
In June 2003, Aline opened “Mayrig”, an avant-guardiste traditional Armenian restaurant. Since then, Aline has ventured into new concepts, catering in 2004, Batchig in 2013, Mayrig Boutique in 2014. In 2022, Aline opened Batchig’s first franchise to Dubai at the Millennium Place – Mirdif.
Batchig is open daily from 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
