Gamers8 concerts continue with Marshmello, Black Eyed Peas, Nancy Ajram, R3HAB, Axwell, Lil Pump, DJ Snake, Russ, Alan Walker, Balqees, Hamaki and Disco Misr all to perform in Riyadh this summer

Gamers8, the biggest esports and gaming event worldwide, today unveils another batch of global superstars headlining incredible concerts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia each weekend this summer season.

Hosted under the theme of ‘Gamers8 – Your Portal to the Next World’, from Thursday, July 14 elite esports tournaments are taking place at a purpose-built venue at Boulevard Riyadh City alongside a series of festivals, concerts and shows.

The opening night announcement of Amr Diab, J Balvin, Sebastian Ingrosso and Salvatore Ganacci has already whetted the appetite of gig goers, and Gamers8 can now reveal the following artists also starring in Riyadh this summer:

  • Thursday, July 21 – Axwell, Balqees, Hamaki
  • Thursday, July 28 – Lil Pump
  • Thursday, August 4 – R3HAB
  • Thursday, August 11 – Marshmello, Nancy Ajram
  • Thursday, August 18 – Russ, Alan Walker, Disco Misr
  • Thursday, August 25 – Black Eyed Peas, DJ Snake

Tickets for concerts at the state-of-the-art music venue called NXT LVL are on sale here Gamers8. More big-name artists are still to be revealed for Gamers8 – so watch this space.

Ahmed Al Bishri, Chief Operations Officer at the Saudi Esports Federation, said: “The goal of Gamers8 is to bring the virtual world of esports and gaming out into the physical realm of Riyadh while merging a plethora of entertainment activities such as music, festivals, shows and the latest experiences for children. There truly is something for everyone at Gamers8. As part of that, we are delighted to be bringing some of the biggest names in music to Riyadh this summer and know they will significantly contribute to a season of incredible moments and memories.”

Award-winning DJ and producer Axwell, a member of the progressive house supergroup Swedish House Mafia, features on the July 21 bill alongside Emirati singer Balqees and Egyptian favorite Hamaki. The Thursday afterwards, Gucci Gang rapper Lil Pump hits up NXT LVL. On August 4, Dutch Moroccan dance superstar R3HAB, famous for All Around The World (La La La), rolls into Riyadh. The following week, come and see Marshmello, the dance favorite behind hit tunes Happier and FRIENDS, as well the ‘Queen of Arab Pop’ Nancy Ajram in action.

American rapper Russ is back in Saudi Arabia to perform hits including What They Want and Losin Control on August 18. Alan Walker, famous for the critically acclaimed single Faded, and Amr Emad and Mostafa El Sherif, the Disco Misr duo, are also starring on the bill at NXT LVL. The following Thursday, the music legends that are the Black Eyed Peas, hit makers of I Gotta Feeling and Where Is The Love?, perform live in Riyadh. French record producer DJ Snake, who created Let Me Love You with Justin Bieber and Lean On with Major Lazer featuring MØ, also wows the Riyadh crowd that night.

Organized by the Saudi Esports Federation, Gamers8 will focus on four main pillars, each with something to offer for everyone. These four pillars are: Professional Esports, Festivals, Music and ‘The Next World Forum’, an esports and gaming forum that will bring together sector leaders and experts from around the world.

Gamers8 features elite esports teams competing across: Rocket League, Dota 2, Fortnite, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and PUBG MOBILE. A staggering $15 million prize pool is on offer. Rocket League, running from Thursday, July 14 until Sunday, July 17, begins the esports action.

More than 1,000 activities and attractions, such as comedy, dance, magic shows, and much more, will also be on the Gamers8 entertainment agenda throughout the season.

Gamers8 tournaments will be broadcast live on the event channels in more than eight different languages. Further details on star names and top attractions will be released on the event website.
