Raised in the ancient capital city of Nanjing in eastern China, Chef Dong is a naturally instinctive and creative cook who was born into a family of chefs. Passionate about introducing people from across the globe to the charm and unique tastes of traditional Chinese cuisine, he particularly specialises in Cantonese, Szechuan and Jiangsu recipes.

The Wonders of Szechuan with Chef Dong Nie – 8-course wine degustation dinner *new*
Spanning eight expertly curated courses of exceptional Szechuan-inspired cuisine, Chef Dong Nie and his talented team have created an extra special dinner experience for guests at Dai Pai Dong. Featuring an array of Chef Dong’s sensational recipes, including Szechuan hot and sour seafood soup and braised red snapper with tofu and Szechuan spices, each delicious palate pleaser comes perfectly paired with smooth grapes from Novecento, the world-famous Argentinean vineyard. Every guest is welcomed by the brand’s knowledgeable wine ambassador, who will then explain the properties and tastes of each Novecento grape throughout the evening and why they have been paired with each individual course.
