Jeep Launches “From the Source” Documentary in Partnership with Al Aan TV for International Women’s Day 2022

In honour of International Women’s Day, Jeep Middle East has partnered with Al Aan TV to launch the “From the Source” documentary chronicling the journeys of female Jeep owners and their beloved SUVs which is set to air on March 8th, 2022.

Featuring four ladies of different nationalities, each of whom are from very diverse backgrounds, but all dedicated Jeep owners, the “From the Source” documentary shines a light on the authentic stories of these adventurous women, and what their Jeeps mean to them.

The show is introduced by Cristina Guida La Licata, Head of Marketing Communications for Jeep at Stellantis Middle East, who explains how Jeep is a diverse brand that appeals to everyone, and has stood for freedom, authenticity, passion and adventure for over 80 years. No matter who you are. on-road or off-road, there is always a Jeep SUV for you.

Commenting on the launch of the series, Cristina said: “Jeep is a vehicle that enables life’s extraordinary adventures, and empowers women’s journeys on a daily basis. Every woman has her own adventure, which doesn’t always mean climbing a mountain or exploring the desert. Sometimes it can be urban exploration, or even just well-earned social time with friends. With this documentary, we wanted to show the world some of these adventures, as told through the stories of these extraordinary women, and the Jeeps that enable their journeys.”

The four women featured are:

Fatima is a proud Emirati woman who is also very passionate about her Wrangler. She broke with the traditional expectation and stereotype of what a woman’s car should be when she decided to buy her Wrangler.

  • Iwona Deren

Originally from Poland, Iwona is the blogger and vlogger behind Missions Offroad, dedicated to off-roading and overlanding throughout the United Arab Emirates and beyond. Iwona’s adventures with her Jeep Wrangler have helped her gain her strength and confidence.

  • Karima Thomson

Karima is a wife and a mother to 3 beautiful kids, and also a dedicated off-roader and desert explorer, because being an adventurous Jeep owner is not limited to single women.

  • Zeus Shiraki

Zeus is a Japanese expat who, through her Jeep, found a family with a sense of connection and belonging. She goes on regular weekly drives with different groups, and even teaches ladies how to dune bash with her classic Jeep Cherokee.
