Oracle and National Information Technology Academy Collaborate to Stregthen Saudi Arabia’s IT Talent Pool in line with Vision 2030

Oracle today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia’s National Information Technology Academy (NITA) to help boost the country’s local IT talent pool by offering training and learning programs in latest digital technologies with globally recognised certifications.

“As a non-profit training instition, the National Information Technology Academy is focused on offering young Saudis with advanced and accelerated training programs to develop a “job-ready” talent pool.Oracle is one of the leading cloud technology vendors in Saudi Arabia and globally, and we are excited to offer some world class training and certification opportunities for our students as they prepare to enter the Kingdom’s fast growing IT industry”, said Majed Al-Ghassab, Executive Director, National Information Technology Academy.

Under this program, Oracle will support NITA’s Bridge Program Learners, a 3 – 6 months program where learners receive training in soft skills as well as advanced skills and certifications. Oracle experts will host training sessions, seminars, and offer coaching to eligible students on latest cloud technologies. Oracle will also provide training paths to students through the Workforce Development Program. Students can earn globally recognised certification through these programs. Furthermore, Oracle experts will also guide students to access the Oracle Learning Explorer Program to begin acquiring latest IT skills without any cost barriers.
