The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, renowned for its incredible gastronomic offerings and beautiful restaurants, has unveiled a host of delightful opportunities for the month of March. While women are celebrated for International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day, there’s plenty of special features to appeal to all tastes, whether visitors are looking for an after-work beverage, a delicate afternoon treat or an extra-special fine dining experience.

 

Dancing with the Daffodils Afternoon Tea at the Crystal Lounge

Escape from reality for a while with this wonderfully poetic afternoon tea experience. Inspired by English poet, William Wordsworth’s iconic poem, ‘I Wondered Lonely as a Cloud’ this is a sumptuous spread of sweet and savoury delights designed to represent the unique bond between man and nature.

Artfully crafted by Chef Mica & Chef Rosario, this exclusive afternoon tea is served in the tranquillity of the Crystal Lounge. Available throughout the month of March, the offering includes scrumptious sandwiches and daffodils bread with mint chutney. On a sweet note, the desserts offering includes coconut pineapple éclairs, passion fruit macarons, lemon apricot scones with homemade apricot jam, peach almond tarts, mango cheesecake and mini lemon cakes.

Ginvetory at Azura Panoramic Lounge

An ideal way to make the most of the cool winter weather and catch up with friends, the Ginventory at Azura Panoramic Lounge boasts of beautiful botanical blends that can be enjoyed alongside the panoramic views of the Corniche and Arabian Gulf.

Gin lovers can rejoice the versatile craft spirit in over 40 creative varieties. The flavour of each bespoke mix is elevated as a savoury dish of choice is presented to complement the experience.

Cocktail Travels by Manoj Joshi at The St. Regis Bar

Travel around the world without leaving the comfort and luxury of The St. Regis Bar, with these innovative new cocktail creations by Manoj Joshi.

These perfect concoctions are inspired by the world’s best destinations. Relax along the beaches of Thailand with a concoction boasting the local flavours of lemongrass, kaffir leaves and lem0n juice, before whizzing over to the bustling urban landscape of Istanbul with a blend full of flavourful camomile tea, and lemon juice. Recover with a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Maldives represented by a cocktail of passion fruit, lemon juice and soda and bask in the Italian sun with a flavourful blend of gin, prosecco and rosemary.

Offering a total of eight wonderful flavour mixtures inspired by these varied and exotic destinations, visitors are invited to embark on a journey to experience these creative cocktails all throughout the month of March.

Concocted by Indian born mixologist, Manoj Joshi, who has worked at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi since 2018, and with a passion for creating new and exciting beverages, he has hosted a number of hugely successful events at the hotel’s most classically stylish bar.

A Taste of Saffron at Villa Toscana

One of the treasured flavours in the world, it’s all about the aromatic tastes of Saffron at Villa Toscana this March. Famous for being the world’s most expensive spice by weight, the exclusive ingredient is derived from the flower of the crocus sativus plant.

The feast at the classic Italian restaurant, Villa Toscana, is a grand celebration of the sweet and floral taste of saffron and the depth and intrigue it adds to every dish.

Served à la carte style, diners can start their evenings with a choice of either Pan-Seared Foie Gras and Langoustine Tail in saffron dipped brioche or Marinated Venison Carpaccio with saffron puree and crispy parsnip.

Indulge into the exquisite flavour of this celebrated spice with a Saffron Risotto or Mascarpone Ravioli with saffron caramel. For main course, diners can relish on tempting plates of Grilled Veal Tenderloin with a saffron and herb crust, or Charcoal Hake Fillet served with saffron and fennel compote and spiced mayonnaise.

Conclude your journey with Lemon Mimosa cake and Saffron ice cream sweet pistachio tulle for dessert.

Business Lunch at Villa Toscana

Known for its rustic Italian grandeur and authentic dishes, Villa Toscana has unveiled a business lunch menu for guests looking for a delicious treat mid-day.

For an afternoon of indulgence, Chef Rosario and his team delivers a true culinary treat served in the warm ambiance of Villa Toscana. The lunch is served directly on the table and includes a selection of antipasti, salads, hot starters, fresh focaccia and bread selection, coffee and dessert.

Available weekdays noon to 3pm. Business lunch packages start from AED 95 for a selection of antipasti and desserts, or AED 120 for antipasti, a main and desserts.

Aperitivo Time at Villa Toscana

The art of Aperitivo is a tradition to cherish, and anyone who has been lucky enough to visit the boot-shaped country will know that’s a key part of the Italian’s evening routine.

Featuring endless choices of fine cheeses, meats, Italian breads and nibbles, it’s the perfect way to unwind after the working day. The exquisite menu includes bruschettone chop pachino tomatoes, pizzas, grill and roe vegetables, fried calamari rings, charcoal beef focaccia, rocket and parmesan and piccola caprese.

Available Sunday to Friday from 5pm to 8pm. The Aperitivo package starts from AED 175 per person, including a bottle of prosecco.

Bain child of Executive Sous Chef of Catch at St. Regis, Chef Remon, and Restaurant General Manager, Anika de Jongh, the paired menu is a gastronomic revelation transporting guests to the bountiful landscape of the country.

Diners can expect a taste of the best of their grapes through the latest sublime pairing menu experience at Catch at St. Regis. Inspired by the life cycle of a plant, the menu takes diners through from the roots to the shoots, leaves, flowers and fruits. The exceptional tastes of this five-course dinner menu are enhanced to new levels of delicious by the complimenting fine wines. 

Taking place on March 25th, this indulgent dinner can be enjoyed by 30 guests only. Priced at AED 650 per person inclusive of all taxes and fees and is available from 7PM to 9:30PM with welcome cocktails served at 6:30PM.

Helipad Sunset Supper

For guests with a taste for adventure, the Helipad Sunset Supper offers the perfect opportunity to experience a Premier Sunset Supper at 255 meters up in the air, in the highest active helipad in Middle East. The daring ones will witness the most amazing sunset views overlooking Qasr Al Watan and the magical Arabian Gulf.

From the very start, the experience exudes opulence as guests are greeted from the grand lobby of the St. Regis Abu Dhabi. A welcome glass of Louis Roederer Champagne awaits at the signature St. Regis Bar as they are guided through the discreet back hallways where a private elevator will bring the guests to the helipad, offering the most breath-taking atmosphere and panoramic views of the city. On the menu are delectable hors d’oeuvres, a tasteful selection of international cheeses in addition to 3 premium red and white grapes and hops or innovative gin cocktails concurred on the spot.

The Helipad Sunset Supper is available on March 12th with alcohol for AED 750. Exclusive to 20 guests only, diners are kindly requested to arrive at 4.30pm in order to complete the check in process.

Helipad Afternoon Tea

On March 26th, a delectable afternoon experience is offered like no other. Presenting the prime sunset views of Abu Dhabi overlooking Qasr Al Watan and the mesmerizing Arabian Gulf, the signature afternoon tea takes place at the highest active helipad in the Middle East. Exclusively for 20 guests, seekers of bespoke experiences can expect a quintessential atmosphere.

Guests are greeted from the lobby of The St. Regis Abu Dhabi and through a discreet elevator are taken to the helipad where an indulgent afternoon tea awaits. With intimate knowledge of every conceivable facet in the world of teas, a tea sommelier will present a rich collection of over 20 brews and guided by guest’s preference and choice, will concoct a personalized blend in front of the guests.

The experience is heightened by an exquisite collection of canapés, and appetizers with each featuring a sensational flavour and complimented by a wide selection of freshly baked scones and mouth-watering desserts.

Brunch in The Clouds

Brunch in The Clouds continues to host an exquisite dining experience every Friday. Extravagant diners can anticipate a grand and intimate affair positioned 220m above sea level.

Held in the palatial Abu Dhabi Suite, the lush bedrooms, the study room and the library of Art Deco-inspired elements are nicely transformed into four private dining areas, allowing guests to brunch in their own privacy. Additionally, within its’ impressive majlis living room, adorned by floor-to-ceiling windows opening up to 360 high-rise views over the beautiful city and Arabian Gulf, Brunch in the Clouds is easing the “served to table” experience respecting the privacy of all.

Curated by Executive Chef Joseph and his team, the extensive menu is designed to satisfy all discerning palates. Featured in the menu are seafood selections, lobster and oysters, a vast variety of sushi combinations, tasteful meat courses all delicately presented with a collection of desserts and chocolates.

Available on March 5th and 19th, Brunch in Clouds takes place from 12PM to 4PM. Prices are AED 450 per person for soft beverages, AED 595 inclusive of grapes, hops, spirits & prosecco and for AED 750 the price includes champagne, grapes, hops & prosecco.
