Evtec Automotive, an electric vehicle automotive supply specialist and member of the Auto Innovation Group, has appointed Steve Norris as Chairman it has been announced.
Norris, a former UK Minister for Transport, has been a board member of many public and privately held companies and has a 50-year association with the UK automotive industry.
Evtec Automotive is a key part of the Auto Innovation Group which has been formed to create long-term investments in the UK automotive industry. A large part of its portfolio focuses on advanced technologies for electrified vehicles and businesses with strong ESG – environmental, social and governance – credentials.

Evtec Automotive, based in Coventry, counts Jaguar Land Rover and other major car manufacturers amongst its customer base as a Tier One supplier in the rapidly growing EV sector. Its sales are now back to pre-Covid crisis levels and it plans to expand to serve increasing demand for electrified vehicles.
