Almajdouie Motors Company, the authorized distributor of Changan cars in Saudi Arabia, signed a strategic agreement with Alwaleed Philanthropies, according to which 1,000 Changan cars were supplied to the charitable foundation. This agreement comes as an expression of consumer confidence in the Saudi market in Changan cars, which have proven their efficiency, strength and ability to work under the harshest climatic and environmental conditions.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Lamia bint Majid Al Saud, Secretary-General of Alwaleed Philanthropies, Ms. Iman Al-Theeb, Director of Local Initiatives, and on the part of Almajdouie Changan Company, Mr. Yousef bin Ali Almajdouie, President of Almajdouie Group, Mr. Yasser Farouk Shaheen, MD of Almajdouie Changan Company, Mr. Abdullah Al-Shraideh, General Manager of wholesale and corporate sales, and Mr. Ramy Amin, Supervisor of wholesale and corporate sales for the Central Region.
The choice of Changan cars by Alwaleed Philanthropies came after conducting in-depth research of the various car models available in the Saudi market, and after Al-Waleed Philanthropies confirmed that Changan cars meet the needs of the user in all respects, and that they are strong and will not constitute a burden on the user in the long run, where the cars will be distributed to people with limited income who must have cars that do not need a lot of expenses to operate and maintain.
Noting that Alwaleed Philanthropies, over four decades, has supported thousands of projects, spent more than SR. 16.5 billion, and implemented thousands of projects in more than 189 countries around the world, under the leadership of 10 Saudi female employees, bringing the number of beneficiaries to more than one billion beneficiaries, regardless of gender, race, or religion. The Foundation also cooperates with a range of charitable, governmental, and educational institutions to combat poverty, empower women and youth, develop local communities, provide disaster relief, and create cultural understanding through education.
