The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Diriyah Club, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Habshan, and Mr. Fouad Salih bin Shihon, CEO of Bin Shihon Trading Company ,Riyadh, signed the company’s sponsorship contract for the top football team for five seasons. According to which the company’s logo of the three brands of the group (Bin Shihon Group, United Tires and Toro Batteries) will be placed on the back and shoulder of the team’s shirts as well as on the shorts.
The signing ceremony took place in presence of members of the Board of Directors of Al-Diriyah Club, Sheikh Salih Qassim bin Shihon, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bin Shihon Trading Company, and a number of the group’s employees.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Diriyah Club, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Habshan, confirmed that the sponsorship of Bin Shihon Group for the club reflects the desired integration between sports activity and the private sector to serve the community, praising the positive spirit that prevailed in the negotiations from the beginning to its end, which was based on a sincere common desire. This sponsorship includes many aspects that will be reflected on the aspiring Al-Diriyah Club to have a distinguished position in the Saudi sports map, not only at the level of football but also in all games.
The club president revealed that the work is proceeding in accordance with the strategy of creating and enhancing the club’s investment environment in line with the blessed 2030 vision, which dedicated many initiatives to support sports and Saudi athletes and open up broader horizons for clubs to benefit from the investment components therein.
For his part, Mr. Fouad Salih Bin Shihon, CEO of Bin Shihon Trading Company,Riyadh explained that the group’s sponsorship of Al-Diriyah Club comes within the framework of the group’s community message, specifically in the sports sector, following its distinguished and outstanding presence in motor racing through its sponsorship of the Saudi champion Saeed Al-Mori, in addition to many other community contributions which were varied between the awareness aspect and support for the activities held by various parties.
Mr. Fouad added, saying: “We look forward to being part of Al-Diriyah Club’s ambitious vision to build a strong and competitive team whose initial goal is to go up and strongly compete in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup in the future.”
