Dr. Mohamed Sayed MD, is an internationally recognised Consultant Ophthalmic surgeon and has undergone advanced fellowship training in glaucoma as well as paediatric ophthalmology at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Florida, USA, and is one of a handful of specialists with dual training in these two subspecialties.
With 13 years of international experience in ophthalmology, Dr. Sayed has worked in major centers of excellence in Saudi Arabia and the United States.
His areas of expertise are in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and cataract, including laser surgery, customized cataract surgery with premium intraocular lens implants (toric, extended depth of field and trifocal), minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), surgery for complex glaucoma (trabeculectomy and tube shunt devices), and combined cataract and glaucoma surgery.
His surgical innovations include refining techniques of glaucoma drainage devices to render them less invasive and combining minimally invasive techniques (laser, canaloplasty and miniature stents) to achieve optimal intraocular pressure control. He is one of a few ophthalmologists in the Middle East who specialise in childhood glaucoma.
Dr. Imad Hakim MD, is a renowned ophthalmologist with over 15 years of regional and international experience. He undertook his certificate in Ophthalmology from the renowned Ludwig Maximillian University of Munich, Germany and sub specialty training in Cataract and Refractive surgery at Realeyes Eye Clinic in Munich, Germany.
His areas of expertise are in Femto laser assisted Cataract Surgery (FLACS), Refractive vision correction surgery (LASIK, LASEK, TransPRK, PTK, Implantable Contact Lenses ICLs, Multifocal Intraocular Lenses IOLs and Add-On IOL ), Keratoconus, Phototherapeutic Keratectomy (PTK) Laser Eye Surgery and General Ophthalmology.
