The Universal Premium Motors Agencies, the official dealer of Infiniti cars in Saudi Arabia, is sponsoring the Aramco Saudi Ladies International Tournaments for the period from 4-7 November, and the Aramco Team Series for the period from 10-12 November 2021, as the official car partner. These distinctive tournaments are supported by the Public Investment Fund and is organized by the Saudi Golf Federation and Saudi Golf, and considered as a high-level professional golf tournaments held in Saudi Arabia, where Al Tawkilat provided their fleet of the premium Infiniti cars, to ensure the ease and convenience of movement of the participating players from the moment they were received at King Abdulaziz International Airport till their transfer between their place of residence and to the “Royal Greens” Golf Course and Club at King Abdullah Economic City.
These two tournaments fall under the umbrella of the European Women’s Golf Tour, and are dated back the third year in a row after the previous two editions achieved great success at the global level as the Saudi Tour concludes a world series that started from London in the United Kingdom, through Sotogrande in Spain and New York in the United States of America.
In this regard, Sheikh Mohammed Abduljawad, CEO of Al Tawkilat, one of the leading Saudi automotive companies, remarked on the appeal of the women’s back-to-back tournaments by saying: “Golf in Saudi Arabia has become a source of inspiration in the new and exceptional era for Saudi sport, which has demonstrated its high capabilities and great potential in hosting some of the most prominent sporting events on a global level. This is in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030, where great attention is paid to sports and athletes, especially towards women’s participation in sport. Women’s participation in sport is seen as one of the most important contributions towards advancement on various economic, tourism, cultural, as well as social levels. This is in line with Al Tawkilat’s own vision and therefore we are very proud to sponsor these international golf tournaments in Saudi Arabia”.
Hosting the biggest international events is considered as an essential part of the golf strategy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which aims to inspire its next generation and place it in the ranks of the leading countries in such a sport. The Saudi Golf seeks to facilitate women’s access to and participation in this game, which had launched the ladies first initiative, inspiring 1,000 ladies to learn more about golf and to practice it regularly in clubs.
