Manchester City fans were in for a treat at this weekend’s City Live! Screening as they saw the Citizens emerge victorious against bitter rivals Manchester United in their Premier League clash on Saturday, in a memorable fan event in Abu Dhabi.
At a live screening fan event in Zayed Sports City in the UAE’s capital, City supporters had the chance to meet Moonbeam, the club’s official mascot on Saturday and take their picture with the Premier League and Carabao Cup trophies following the club’s victories in the 2020/21 season.
Aspiring young footballers also took part in City Football Schools training sessions on the day, as they practiced their skills to replicate the game’s action, with City emerging victorious thanks to an own goal from Manchester United defender Eric Bailly and City’s Portuguese magician, Bernardo Silva to seal the 2-0 win in the derby.
