The much-loved Bleu Blanc has reopened its doors at the recently opened luxury hotel, The St. Regis Downtown Dubai with a brand-new menu packed full of authentic French flavours, curated by the newly appointed Head Chef, Paolo Lostia.

Located in the heart of Downtown Dubai, the elegant restaurant blends authentic French flavours with a relaxed continental approach to fine dining, capturing a warm ambience that is reminiscent of a cosy home in the South of France. A must-try dining experience where authentic cooking is proudly served, Bleu Blanc welcomes the avant-garde Head Chef Paolo to the helm. He has enriched the former menu with his skilled artistry in gourmet delicacies, and mastered sublime new dishes that would that appeal to even the most discerning palates.

Known for its servings of the finest quality oysters, the upgraded Bleu Blanc menu brings back its most sought-after shells, namely the velvety Pink Tarbouriech and a smooth Dibba Bay – compounded of rice vinegar mignonette, yuzu pearls and jalapeno granite that effortlessly glides down the throat. An array of flavourful starters await, including a dry-aged Beef Tartare served with smoked eggplants and aioli and an earthy King Crab Salad topped off with virgin vegetables, smoothly textured avocados, salmon roe and fresh water cress. Moving onto mains, Paolo effortlessly captures the French essence of cooking through tender meat selections such as the succulent Barbeque Lamb Ribs, beautifully garnished with potato mille feuille and crème fraiche and a juicy Duck Confit adorned with smoked baby gems and glazed with sauce a l’orange. The doughy homemade Potato Gnocchi filled with forest mushrooms, black truffle and topped off with parmesan cheese is truly a mouth-watering delicacy. Irresistible desserts grace the menu to perfectly round off the meal, including the gooey Araguani Chocolate Ganache presented with creamy raspberry sorbet.

Bleu Blanc offers an extensive collection of the finest bubbly, sake and signature cocktails such as Fraise Sauvage made up of mint leaf pink gin, wild strawberry and tonic, presented in a most spectacular manner. St. Clementine is a beautiful mandarin cocktail with carbonated lillet rose, lychee and bubbly and Moulin Rouge, a French classic, is a hybrid of deep red currants, tangy orange curacao and guava. In-line with the St. Regis brand rituals, Bleu Blanc will be home to Champagne Sabering – an experience that ensures a touch a drama to the evening.

A smooth, three-piece contemporary French jazz band playing on Thursday and Friday nights will transport diners to the streets of Southern France, bringing a vibrant vibe to the renewed restaurant. With a subtly updated interior design including flashes of foliage, new lighting and a rearranged layout, Bleu Blanc is the perfect spot for a romantic date night or a special night out with family and friends.
