Nobles Properties Grants Full Scholarships to 13 IT Students at the AlHussein Technical University

Nobles Properties granted full scholarships to 13 Information Technology students at the AlHussein Technical University, one of His Highness the Crown Prince’s initiatives to support Jordanian youth’s pursuit of vocational, technical and applied sciences. The scholarships will cover all Bachelor’s degree tuition expenses in the areas of information technology, cyber ​​security and data sciences for qualifying students.

The scholarships were granted during a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony on campus between Nobles Properties and the AlHussein Technical University. Company executives accompanied Omar Ayesh, the Nobles Group Chairman, who signed on behalf of Nobles Properties, and HUT President Dr. Ismael al-Hinti, accompanied by senior academic staff members as well as several students, signed on behalf of the university.

The MoU emphasizes Nobles’ pledge to cover all tuition fees for exceptional students that meet selection criteria. It also states that the company will provide practical training opportunities for students at their headquarters, a key component of helping pupils hone the skills they will need to secure employment upon graduation.

Ayesh stressed that making this commitment is an extension of Nobles’ Corporate Social Responsibility programs through which it seeks to help develop individuals deserving of support. “Our decision to support initiatives focused on education comes from our belief that learning forms the foundation of social development and progress,” he said. “What we see happening in the world reinforces our conviction that advances in the information technology sector are critical to success in all commercial and industrial sectors,” he continued, “particularly given how pervasive electronic commerce has become.”  The specific IT scholarships Nobles chose were selected because of their importance to , we chose information technology specializations because of their importance to business and society at large.

Ayesh expressed his confidence at working together with the Hussein Technical University, considered among Jordan’s most important technical institutions. He cited HTU’s unique strategy of ensuring students earn their degrees through a combination of the finest theoretical instruction and the latest practical applications in new, state-of-the-art laboratories – an approach that better prepares Jordan’s youth for the workforce.

For his part, Dr. AlHinti praised the company’s efforts to assist deserving university students and providing them with a quality education that enables them to build a brighter future. He added that Nobles has set an example in terms of social responsibility with its support for ambitious Jordanian youth.

The university’s president added that HUT considers the private sector an essential partner in the technical education process. He noted that the university develops its curricula with the private sector in mind, including its emphasis on building specialized laboratories for hands-on vocational experience; developing exchange programs to maximize students benefiting from technical expertise; and collaborating with companies to develop practical training and mentorship programs.

Dr. Al-Hinti presented Ayesh with a Shield of Honor at the conclusion of the signing ceremony, thanking Nobles for its generous grant and its commitment to support qualifying students.

Al-Hussein Technical University is considered among the most modern of Jordan’s technical universities. It grant’s bachelor’s degrees in engineering technology and computer sciences. It is based in the King Hussein Business Park.
