The Abarth Toy Drive, launched by Italian performance brand Abarth, in partnership with Abarth Dubai Club, TOYIT.TODAY, Dubai Autodrome, National Auto, and Horizon English School, have collected over 6,000 toys to distribute to children in need through the Tarahum Charity Foundation. Abarth, part of the Stellantis group, is one the most beloved automotive performance brands in the world, dedicated to producing high-performance and motorsports vehicles such as the Abarth 595 Competizione.
Through the campaign, the UAE community was invited to donate new or used toys through WWW.TOYIT.TODAY,the digital platform for preloved kids’ items, or by dropping the toys off to Dubai Autodrome, National Auto showroom, and Arabian Ranches Golf Club for a chance to “play with Abarth” at the Dubai Autodrome and have some fun on the racetrack in the Abarth 595 Competizione. Horizon English School also saw its community come together and collect toys from their staff, students and their families.
Commenting on the campaign, Rakesh Nair, Managing Director for European Brands at Stellantis Middle East, said: “The Abarth Toy Drive has been a resounding success, with thousands of toys bringing joy to children who need it most. In return for their generosity, we’re delighted to bring some joy to the lucky winners with exhilarating track experiences in the thrilling Abarth 595 Competizione – a pocket rocket that lets you play forever!”
By final count, the number of donations collected for the Tarahum Charity Foundation surpassed an astonishing 6,000 toys, which are being distributed to children in need. Each donation earned participants an entry into a draw to win one of 54 exciting Abarth track driving experiences.
Sherif Dahan, Founder of TOYIT.TODAY added: “We are delighted to have been part of this unique initiative and proud of the achievement and number of toys collected for children in need. We extended our full platform capabilities to enable families to donate easily and conveniently while giving the Abarth team full visibility in real time on the donations on our platform.”
Miss Leanne Burton, Head of Music and Moral Education at Horizon English School said: “Community is at the heart of Horizon English School and this was evident in the overwhelming amount of donations we received for the Tarahum Charity Foundation. We were humbled to collaborate with Abarth for the ‘Toy Drive’ campaign and we are very proud to have made such a substantial contribution to help children in need. We look forward to future opportunities of collaboration to once again, unite our Horizon community and make a difference.”
