The 2021 Digital Democracy report, from the Solonian Democracy Institute, evaluated 22 eDemocracy tools from 14 countries on criteria such as functionality, ability to execute, case studies, security and others. In selecting vendors, the Institute focused exclusively on solutions with solid development and a proven track record of implementation success.
According to the report, Polys gained a 63% remit score and was noted for its user-friendly, convenient interface and high level of informational security. Additionally, the solution received maximum scores for the number of active customers and case studies.
Experts underlined standout features of the solution, including its interface which allows anyone to set up decisions quickly and share the voting process and outcomes with an audience in real-time. The report also highlights that security is an area where Polys is “to the fore of many other vendors”. In addition to utilizing industry-standard encryption and offering a full privacy policy, all voting data collected by the service is directly stored on Blockchain and therefore cannot be rigged or deleted.
“We are excited to receive the award from Solonian Democracy Institute,” comments Alexander Sazonov, Head of Product at Polys. “The Digital Democracy Report is a unique overview of decision-making platforms incorporating all the major global vendors. The confidence of the expert community confirms that the Polys voting system is at the forefront of e-democracy solutions, particularly in such crucial aspects as security and innovation”.
