The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has named Pagero as a qualified e-invoicing solution provider in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Pagero’s e-invoicing solution has met the requirements by ZATCA for issuing electronic invoices and notices, which will be mandatory for all taxpayers subject to VAT in Saudi Arabia from 4 December 2021.
As a leading, open business network for compliant and digital business document exchange across the globe, Pagero’s solution allows businesses to issue e-invoices in Arabic, as well as connecting and validating invoices with ZATCA requirements via the Pagero Portal. Pagero’s solution is compliant with the Kingdom’s data and cloud computing regulations for data processing and digital archiving, and can integrate seamlessly with any existing ERP, workflow, or procurement system to support taxpayers in the transition to compliance.
The Pagero solution is already built to produce the required UBL and human readable format as per ZATCA’s requirements, which readily supports taxpayers in phase two, which from 1 January 2023 requires the taxpayers to clear invoices with the ZATCA fatoorah platform.
“Globally, there is a growing number of Tax Administrations implementing e-invoicing and CTC mandates to support digitalisation of the economy and VAT regulation, and it is excellent to see Saudi Arabia setting the precedent in the Middle East. Pagero is already offering compliance in more than 70 jurisdictions where e-invoicing is regulated and supports customers in 140+ countries, including leading companies such as HPE, Johnson&Johnson and Jotun, who are currently using our solution. We are pleased to be recognized by ZATCA as a qualified e-invoicing solution provider in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and look forward to supporting many businesses in this digitalisation journey.” says Luis Ortega, Managing Director for Pagero Middle East, Africa, Asia.
