The London Concours presented by Montres Breguet is building on a sold-out event this year with ambitious plans to grow the capital’s leading concours d’elegance even further in 2022. Off the back of record attendance and an expanded three-day format, London Concours will evolve once more with even more content dedicated to the most spectacular cars in the world.
From 28th-30th June, 2022, London Concours introduces a new dedicated judged supercar concours – the first of its kind. The supercars will be judged in classes as diverse as Hypercars and Super SUVs, in a move that very much returns to the roots of concours d’elegance, where horse-drawn carriages or vehicles competing were less than 10 years old.
Recognising the marching progress of electrification in the automotive industry, London Concours will also host a brand new display of cutting-edge electrified classic cars as well as their modern hypercar EV counterparts.
The event’s traditional classes will return, celebrating the finest examples of automotive endeavour. In 2022, London Concours will mark the icons of Mercedes with a special line-up of its finest models, as well as a collection of The Italian Spiders, paying homage to the beautiful cabriolet models of ‘50s and ‘60s Italy. In total, more than 150 cars will be on display across the three days of the event.
Andrew Evans, London Concours director, said: “The London Concours has welcomed record numbers of visitors each year, becoming not only the leading concours in the capital, but also one of the most respected automotive events in the country. For the sixth edition in 2022 we’ll take the momentum of a sold-out event this year and deliver more of the content that keeps both our ticket-buyers and our line-up of world-class partners returning year-after-year.”
