HAKKASAN ABU DHABI CELEBRATES BRAND’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A LIMITED-EDITION SET MENU

This year, Hakkasan restaurants around the world is celebrating the brand’s 20th anniversary with a celebratory set menu. To mark the grand milestone, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi, the renowned dining destination at Emirates Palace will be offering the limited-edition set menu starting from Wednesday, 21st July. The pre-set menu is inspired by the original menu from 2001 when the brand started its journey from Hanway Place in London.

Designed by Chef Andrew Yeo, Group Executive Chef, the limited-edition menu will highlight the most popular dishes since the global chain’s inception. The special 3-course menu will serve up some of Hakkasan’s most renowned signature dishes which were introduced in Hanway Place and will be served alongside newer favourites, showcasing the journey of the brand.

The Michelin starred restaurant is renowned for its contemporary flavour as traditional Cantonese recipes meet modern techniques offering innovative dishes and award-winning cocktails. The anniversary set menu is an exquisite amalgamation of the old and new, priced at AED 488 per person. Highlights of the set menu include Hakkasan’s signature Dim sum trio (Scallop shumai, langoustine har gau, abalone and chicken parcel), followed by Steamed hand-dived scallops with browned butter black bean sauce and Oatmeal Seabass The selection of mains include Stir-fry black pepper rib-eye beef  served alongside a Golden mixed vegetable yam ring with a macadamia nut. The final main dish will be the Supreme stock braised lobster, encased in egg noodle nests and served with lobster wontons.

To add an extra layer of indulgence, a delicious vanilla and plum dessert accompanied with caramelised chocolate cream will be served to conclude the meal. The twentieth anniversary will also welcome the return of the classic favourite – Hakkatini cocktail, served in a vintage style tall martini glass, available in addition to the set menu. For those who want a perfect sip to celebrate the special occasion, a supplementary option of a glass of Louis Roederer Brut Premier bubbly will also be available at AED 98 only.

Hakkasan promises to take guests on a gastronomical journey from the minute they enter the venue, through its discreet, yet tastefully chic interiors that place the spotlight on the culinary spectacle to ensue. Guests can dine surrounded by rich, modern ethnic design indoors or on the expansive outdoor terrace with stunning city skyline views.

In conjunction with the brand’s 20th anniversary, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi turned 11 years in June 2021, this year is set to be a landmark year for Hakkasan group. In addition to its 10 locations around the world, including two restaurants in London, as well as establishments in the United States, the Middle East, India, China and most recently it has expanded in Turkey.
