The highly popular and sought after ‘Breakfast with EMAC’ seminars are back with the first for 2021 being ‘Charter Party Disputes and Enforcement’ in collaboration with Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and HFW.
After a challenging year, stakeholders from the maritime industry eagerly awaited a return to a more approachable way of engaging with the each other through platforms that take the lead in enabling those all important business partnerships. The Breakfast with EMAC (Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre) seminars continues to support sharing information on dispute management strategies that could in the longer term provide ease of shipping business continuity.
To ensure the best safety standards are applied in today’s pandemic environment, the event was held in collaboration with DWTC where the protection measures are highly rated.

“I believe that EMAC will continue to provide a worthy platform for the maritime community to learn from each other”, said Majid bin Bashir, Chairman and Secretary General of EMAC.
“Litigation and arbitration are not at the forefront of business development, but a part of life, and it is important that parties know that they have reliable resources and facilities available to them in the UAE, when disputes arise”, he further added.
