The new Tiguan 2021: sharp style and progressive technology coming soon to the Middle East

The global best seller has received a facelift for 2021 and is set to arrive in the Middle East in July. The updated Tiguan starts from $23,416+ VAT and features the latest technology with a sharp exterior design and optimized comfort and safety.

 

The exterior includes a completely renewed front grille, full LED headlights and new Volkswagen logo. The eye-catching bumpers have also undergone a makeover, looking more rugged and complementing the 4Motion all-wheel-drive system. The LED daytime running lights and taillights come with integrated turn-signal indicators.

The latest generation also comes with larger, redesigned alloy wheels available from 17” to 20”.  The new Tiguan is successfully bridging the gap between adventure and city lifestyle. Adventure seekers also have the option to include accessories such as bike and kayak carriers.

Known for its iconic style, the Tiguan now comes in ten colours; Pure white, Reflex silver metallic, Deep black pearl, Night shade blue metallic Dolphin grey metallic, Urano grey, Ginger brown metallic, Moonstone grey, Kinds red metallic and Lapiz blue metallic. The redesigned SUV comes in four trims for this region – Trendline (1.4L), Life (1.4L or 2.0L), Elegance (2.0L) and R-Line (2.0L).

The new interior features a modern design with multi-function touch steering wheel, an 8” touchscreen infotainment system and optional 9.2” with Discover Pro Navigation. It also features wired and *wireless App-Connect smartphone integration for compatible devices, enabling the driver to use smartphone apps directly on the vehicle display. Multiple phones can be paired and switched to the system with enhanced voice recognition. The premium Harman/Kardon sound system has 8 speakers meticulously engineered to entertain while driving.

Drawing further on style, the Tiguan features multi-colour ambient lighting with up to 30 different colours and redesigned air-conditioning control system with automatic climate control throughout. The panoramic sunroof allows natural light in for an ultra-comfortable driving experience.

In addition, the premium R-Line trim features an optional black style package that includes, 19” Valencia black alloy wheels, black mirror housing, black decorative inserts, and black exterior styling elements.
