Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai proudly announces the next chapter in its Apiary initiative with the unveiling of its new project, launched in Ajman. Modelled on the original Apiary at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England, this latest expansion reaffirms the marque’s enduring commitment to biodiversity, education, and the nurturing of vital pollinator populations across the UAE.
Set amidst the striking mangroves and serene landscapes of Al Zorah Golf Club, the new installation in Ajman comprises six meticulously crafted hives, carefully designed to thrive in the UAE’s unique climate. Four of the hives proudly bear the names of icons from the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ models – Cullinan, Ghost, Phantom, and Spectre – while a fifth, Spirit of Ecstasy, pays homage to the marque’s celebrated emblem. Completing the collection, the sixth hive is named in honour of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ visionary co-founder, Sir Henry Royce.
The Ajman Apiary has already welcomed its first student groups, with more than 35 participants from one school and one university engaged through hands-on educational workshops, blending scientific discovery with environmental stewardship. These immersive experiences have been designed to deepen understanding of bees’ critical role in pollination, biodiversity, and food security, part of a broader initiative to cultivate environmental consciousness among the next generation.
Meanwhile, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Abu Dhabi has established the first apiary at Erth Hotel in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant stride in the marque’s commitment to the environment and community engagement in the UAE capital.
The Abu Dhabi Apiary is home to three bespoke hives, expertly crafted using the same tailored materials and exacting standards as those at the Home of Rolls-Royce, Goodwood, England. Housing an estimated 60,000 bees, including three Emirati queen bees, the installation represents a meaningful celebration of national identity and environmental leadership.
By fostering a thriving bee population within this green haven, the Abu Dhabi Apiary also enhances the habitat for birds, offering a sustainable stopover that supports their journey and survival. This initiative underscores Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Abu Dhabi’s dedication to environmental conservation and its role in supporting the delicate balance of the region’s ecosystem.
