Captivating audiences with charming duos who have graced red carpets and sizzled on (and often off) big and small screens alike, OSN Pop-Up ‘Howa w Heya’ will bring Egyptian cinema favourites from the Golden Age boasting drama, romantic comedy and more. Viewers will bring out the rose-tinted glasses for a date with the most-loved sirens and Casanovas including Fouad Al-Muhandis and Shweikar, Tamer Hosni and Mai Ezz El-Din, Shadia and Abdel Halim Hafiz, and more.
The selection includes picks such as 1967 family comedy Maa’boudat Al-Gamahir, where Shadia and Abdel Halim Hafiz come together in the story of a diva who falls in love with a rising actor and faces the wrath of a jealous producer when she decides to marry. In the third movie, Omar and Salma learn that their daughters were kidnapped by a mafia cell based in South Africa, prompting the pair to undergo a series of adventures in that part of the world.
