Signit, a Saudi digital signatures solution company, has secured a comprehensive digital Trust Service Provider (TSP) license from the Digital Government Authority (DGA).
The license enables Signit to expand its services to include digital certificate issuance, electronic seals, and timestamping, making digital transactions more trustworthy and secure.
“Signit is seeking to help people and businesses in Saudi Arabia operate safely and confidently in the digital world. This license reinforces our role in supporting the Kingdom’s digital economy by providing solutions that are fast, secure, and trusted,” said Mohamed el Abbouri, CEO of Signit.
“This special license allows us to become a recognized authority for issuing digital certificates. Think of these certificates like a digital passport or seal of trust that confirms someone’s identity online and ensures their digital transactions are secure and legitimate,” he added.
As Saudi Arabia accelerates its digital transformation, TSPs play a vital role in helping businesses and individuals securely sign documents, verify their identity, and protect their sensitive information in a way that is both legally binding and fully compliant with local regulations. This makes digital transactions more trustworthy and secure for everyone involved.
Signit’s digital signature platform serves more than 400 organizations in 20 industries.
This milestone strengthens Signit’s position as a leader in Saudi Arabia’s digital economy and supports Vision 2030’s goal of building a secure, digital-first economy, serving a wider range of organizations as a one-stop provider for digital trust services in the Kingdom.
