Yas Heat Racing has officially unveiled its driver Formula 4 lineup for the 2024/25 season, welcoming two promising new talents to its roster: Adam Al Azhari and August Raber. Building on its mission to cultivate world-class racers, the academy continues to empower young drivers while reinforcing the UAE and Abu Dhabi’s global reputation as a motorsport hub.
Fifteen-year-old Adam Al Azhari’s journey in motorsport began 10 years ago, and his rise has been nothing short of remarkable. From clinching the Micro Max Championship in 2019 to dominating the IAME Middle East Cup as Senior Champion in 2024, Adam has consistently proven himself as a capable competitor. This year, he competed in the Spanish FIA Formula 4 Championship, showcasing his potential by earning points in one of the most competitive single-seater racing series. Adam’s adaptability, precision, and relentless drive position him as a key contender in the upcoming season and a racer to watch in the upcoming Formula 4 UAE championship.
Joining him is August Raber, another exceptional young talent who has carved his path through both national and international karting circuits. Starting in the UAE’s Rotax and IAME championships, August consistently bagged several podiums, before taking his talents to Europe and honing his skills and proving his worth on an international stage. His performance in British F4, where he earned rookie podiums and top-10 finishes, demonstrated his ability to transition into single-seater racing. With a blend of determination and technical skills, August is prepared to make a significant impact this season.
By leveraging cutting-edge technology developed by a talent identification system, Yas Heat Racing has a head start in identifying upcoming racing talent. Through advanced simulation and analytics tools adapted from Formula 1 methodologies, Yas Heat evaluates key performance indicators, such as cornering speeds and consistency, to detect talent potential. By applying these insights, Yas Heat Racing effectively have selected two of the most highly ranked drivers to represent the Abu Dhabi based team.
Francesca Pardini, Senior Specialist at Yas Heat, said: “Adam and August represent the future of motorsport, and we are thrilled they have joined the Yas Heat team. Their determination and achievements reflect the values of our programme, which has become a benchmark for nurturing young talent. With the guidance of our ambassadors and the development opportunities on offer for young racers here at Yas Marina Circuit, this team is set to achieve incredible milestones both on and off the track.”
This driver duo will compete alongside Yas Heat’s distinguished ambassadors, Amna and Hamda Al Qubaisi, Rashid Al Dhaheri, and Yas Heat’s Graduate and vice champion of the Spanish F4 Championship in 2024, Keanu Al Azhari. Amna and Hamda have excelled while representing the UAE as the only Emiratis competing in F1 Academy while inspiring countless young racers at home and around the world. Rashid Al Dhaheri, following two successful years in Italian F4 and F4 UAE – one of the most competitive feeder series – has taken the next step and will compete in the Formula Regional
This impressive lineup of young talent produced by Yas Heat Racing embodies the academy’s commitment to fostering talent, promoting diversity, and advancing the UAE’s motorsport legacy.
As Yas Heat Racing Academy gears up for the 2024/25 season, it continues to pave the way for the next generation of motorsport champions, supporting the UAE’s vision of becoming a global motorsport hub.
