Changan Almajdouie hosts skills competition for Changan Middle East and Africa region technicians and service advisors in Saudi Arabia

Almajdouie Motors, the authorized distributor of Changan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, proudly announces the launch of the first ‘2024 Changan Middle East and Africa Skills Competition a regional event aimed at enhancing the skills of technicians and consultants who specialize in the maintenance of Changan Automobile vehicles. The competition aims to empower technical staff members to keep up with the rising popularity of Changan cars and aligns with “Almajdouie Motors” and “Changan” commitment to customer satisfaction.

Set to take place from 13th to 17th November 2024, the competition will feature 15 technicians and 11 consultants from across the Middle East and Africa. These participants will undergo rigorous practical and theoretical tests, overseen by experts from Chongqing Industry Polytechnic College, to vie for the titles of ‘Best Technician’ and ‘Best Maintenance Consultant’ for Changan Automobile in the region.

Saudi Arabia, the region’s biggest market in the automotive sector, was selected as the host for this inaugural competition, reflecting its prominence in Changan’s regional growth strategy. In line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, Almajdouie Motors aims to contribute to local talent development by transferring and localizing knowledge, nurturing technical skills, and building customer confidence in the Changan brand.

Mr. Yasser Shaheen stated the importance of hosting this event in Saudi Arabia, “Changan Automobile has been able to prove its presence in the Saudi market and achieve remarkable growth in it, and to have a special place among customers, thanks to the company’s ability to understand their requirements and meet the needs of the local market.” He highlighted that this event aligns with Almajdouie Motors’ commitment to strengthening the automotive sector in the

Kingdom, meeting the increasing local demand for Changan cars, and boosting customer trust in the market. He also emphasised that this competition will enhance Almajdouie Motors’ track record and improve its ability to deliver high-quality, exceptional services to its customers.
