Constance Hotels & Resorts is thrilled to announce its achievement as the first Mauritian hotel group to receive the prestigious Green Globe Platinum Certification across six of its hotels.
To reach this distinguished level, Constance Hotels &Resorts showcased outstanding efforts in energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and community engagement. This certification highlights the group’s continuous commitment to reducing its environmental footprint while advocating for responsible tourism and supporting local economies.
Constance Ephelia and Constance Lemuria in the Seychelles, along with Constance Moofushi and Constance Halaveli in the Maldives, as well as Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Prince Maurice in Mauritius, have earned this prestigious certification, setting a new benchmark for sustainable luxury.

Green Globe is a renowned global certification program that empowers travel and tourism organizations to enhance their sustainability efforts. With over 430 indicators to evaluate sustainable development performance, Green Globe updates its standards biannually to align with international best practices. The certification includes three levels: Certified Member, Gold Member, and Platinum Member.
Platinum Member status is awarded to members that are certified for 10 consecutive years. This is the highest-level designation offered by the program. Green Globe Platinum Certification is awarded only to organizations that show outstanding commitment and continuous improvement to environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
