On Thursday, the city of Taif will host the third and final round of the Hill Climb Championship, as part of the 2024 Saudi Toyota Championship. The event is organized and supervised by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, with the official partner Abdul Latif Jameel Motorsports and the strategic partner Saudi Investment Bank, in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and Taif Governorate.
The competition will take place in the Al-Muhammadiyah Slope area of Al-Shafa, featuring more than 90 elite drivers from the Kingdom and the region. They will race on a 4.2 km course with 30 turns, starting at an elevation of 1,900 meters and finishing at 2,150 meters above sea level, over the span of three days.
The first day of the round will include registration, administrative checks, and technical inspections of the participating vehicles. Friday will feature three rounds of free practice sessions, each lasting up to two hours, offering drivers a valuable opportunity to get accustomed to the Al-Muhammadiyah Slope and its turns. The excitement will ramp up on Saturday with the final round, as the first race kicks off at 9:30 AM and concludes at 11:30 AM, followed by the second race from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
This final round is expected to intensify the thrilling competition among the drivers as they battle for the championship title in the beautiful setting of Taif, with many car racing fans in attendance.
