After a sensational fortnight of non-stop action and entertainment at the Esports World Cup, it’s full speed ahead to Week 3 and another five days of epic encounters live from Boulevard Riyadh City.

Running for eight weeks until August 25, the Esports World Cup a global celebration of competitive excellence and esports fandom. This pinnacle event in the pro esports calendar pits the world’s greatest clubs and athletes against one another with a record-breaking $60 million prize pool on offer across 22 competitions and 21 games.

Hot on the heels of a sensational weekend where capacity crowds and global audiences witnessed breathtaking conclusions to the Free Fire and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competitions, three more events are taking center stage throughout the Week 3 schedule.

Awaiting avid game enthusiasts within the state-of-the-art SEF Arena is several days of high-stakes knockout drama in the Dota2 Riyadh Masters. Following on from the group stages, 16 clubs are vying to reach the latter stages of the $5 million competition with hometown heroes Team Falcons flying the flag for Saudi Arabia. Having topped the Group A standings with four wins and two draws from seven matches, Team Falcons have emerged as top contenders for the $1.5 million first prize and are certain to receive incredible home support this week.

Elsewhere in the Saudi capital, two more tournaments make their highly anticipated Esports World Cup debuts. The $1 million Counter-Strike 2 competiton welcomes a host of the world’s best clubs aiming to shine on the global stage. Working together in 5v5 format, players must display exemplary tactics to eliminate opponents and reign supreme in this ultra-realistic team-based shooter game.

Another sharing the Week 3 spotlight is PUBG Mobile – the internationally lauded battle royale game. With 24 teams gearing up for showdowns in this $3 million tournament, the objective is simple: parachute onto the remote island below and remain as the last players or team standing – competing alone or in teams to secure victory and glory. PUBG Mobile begins on Friday with the group stages and progression to the tournament’s main stage is at stake.
