LEVC has appointed multi award-winning retailer, Murray Group, as the brands official retail partner for the iconic Black Cab. The group will open its first site in Ivybridge, Devon and offer full sales and aftersales services for LEVC’s current TX model. As well as serving the local taxi trade, Murray Group will supply ‘TX Access’ which is designed to serve businesses that also require sustainable, purpose-built and wheelchair accessible mobility solutions.

Murray Group is a family-owned business which represents a variety of automotive manufacturers across South Devon. Across its sites, the brand employs over 260 people and is recognised in the top 200 automotive businesses in the UK. LEVC is the latest addition to its brand portfolio.

Commenting on Murray Group’s appointment, Kevin Murray said: “We’re delighted to announce our appointment as an official retailer for LEVC for Devon and Cornwall. The black cab is one of the most iconic vehicles in the world, synonymous with quality service and trust in almost every major city in the UK. TX’s premium, innovative and sustainable credentials make it the ideal e-mobility solution for businesses and hackney carriage drivers alike. LEVC is going to be a great addition to the Murray Group and we can’t wait to open our showroom doors!”

Murray Group opened its doors on the 26th June 2024 to host an exclusive, invite only event, where business customers could view a selection of new and approved used TX’s and receive exclusive benefits and launch offers. An official open day will take place on the 27th June and be open to all customers.

Chris Allen, Managing Director, LEVC commented: “Murray Group will be a fantastic addition to the LEVC network as a credible and well trusted family run business. Demand for purpose-built sustainable mobility solutions extends far beyond London and I know that the Murray Group team will make TX a success from its site in Ivybridge, Devon.”

Currently, LEVC retails the TX taxi in the UK and other markets around the world including Egypt, Azerbaijan, South Korea, France, Germany, Turkey, Greece, and the Netherlands. In addition to TX, LEVC also offers a ‘TX Access’ model which is purpose-built to meet the needs of various businesses operating and running: patient transfers, care home logistics, school transfers and even tourism sites.

LEVC recently announced that it intends to launch a luxury MPV called L380 into the UK market within the next two years.
