In a bold new step for Saudi Arabia’s most exciting and innovative automotive partnership, NMC-Kia, the National Marketing Company (NMC) has announced the arrival of the 2024 Kia Sorento to Saudi Arabia with a determination to stay competitive in the midsize three-row SUV market. The 2024 Kia Sorento boasts a bold new exterior design and a high-end interior with advanced technology, combining modern features with a rugged look.
The 2024 Kia Sorento has a bold design inspired by the “Opposites United” philosophy and “Bold for Nature” concept. It has an upright front hood, squared edges like the Telluride, and new daytime running lights. The back has vertical taillamps, and the front features a wide rectangular grille with vertical LED headlights. The Star Map lights give it a futuristic look, and the wider skid plate on the bumpers adds ruggedness.
Inside, the Sorento has a modern, open feel with horizontal air vents and controls. It features a panoramic curved display with dual 12.3-inch screens. New exterior colors include Midnight Lake Blue and Dawning Red.

Next-Gen Technology for the Digital Age
The 2024 Kia Sorento follows the EV9 by introducing the next-generation Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system, which is faster and more responsive, with Quick Controls accessible by screen swipe. Standard features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Sorento also boasts 10 standard Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including upgraded Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) for detecting pedestrians, cyclists, and oncoming vehicles while turning. New features include Smart Cruise Control-Machine Learning (SCC-ML) that adapts to the driver’s style.
Consistent Performance
The Sorento, available in FWD or AWD, maintains its composed ride and performance. The GL, GLS and High trims come with three different powertrain options: 2.5-liter engine that produces 191 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque, 3.5-liter engine that produces 272 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque, or a 1.6L turbo hybrid engine that produces 240 combined horsepower and 367 Nm of torque.
Enhanced Safety
Kia equips a long list of standard safety tech on the 2024 Sorento, including adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, a driver monitoring system, speed limit assist, lane-keeping assistance, and more. New features for 2024 include a machine learning-based adaptive cruise control system that can adapt to the driver’s style of accelerating and braking. The Sorento is also available with a rearview camera mirror, a 360-degree camera system, and more.
