Automechanika Riyadh will officially be held under the Patronage of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Investment, with the opening keynote speech to be delivered by Eng. Saleh Al Khabti, Deputy Minister of Investment Transaction, Ministry of Investment and Patron of the event.
Several high-profile speakers will join him as part of the Automechanika Riyadh Academy, an integral component of the event that brings together thought leaders, experts, and industry professionals to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and trends in the automotive aftermarket in Saudi Arabia, the wider GCC region, and internationally.
Following the keynote speech on the opening day of the event, Eng. Aftab Ahmed, Chief Advisor—Automotive Cluster, National Industrial Development Centre, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, will examine the Kingdom’s Automotive Industry Landscape in depth.
On day two of Automechanika Riyadh, Saad Alhatem, Director General of the Standards Department, Saudi Standards Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), will discuss partnerships, collaborations, and conformity from a regulatory perspective. He will underscore the importance of partnerships and collaborations, international cooperation and aligning standards, and conformity and industry engagement.
A session titled Digital Transformation and Sustainability in MUTABIQ Platform will be delivered by the official show supporter, GCC Standardization Organization (GSO). Eng. Ibrahim Al-Rahbi, the organisation’s Conformity Specialist Engineer and Quality Team Leader, will provide his insights.
Continuing the high-level speaking roster, the Ministry of Investment’s Ahmed Al-Malki, Director-Autmotive, will address the audience on day two, discussing the localisation of manufacturing within the Kingdom, outlining government incentives and subsidies and recent success stories.

The exhibition is licensed to 1st Arabia Tradeshows & Conferences by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH and takes place from April 30 until 2 May 2024 at RICEC.
