Excitement is building as Tough Mudder, the world-renowned obstacle course racing challenge, returns to Jeddah this Friday, the second of four major KSA events in the early part of 2024.
Hosted by the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA), and taking place on Friday January 19 at King Abdullah Sports Stadium, Tough Mudder will once again welcome thousands of new and returning Mudders to face the ultimate challenge of strength, stamina and mental grit.
The 2024 edition of the event will include a 10k race open to those aged 14 and over, featuring more than 20 obstacles, alongside a 5k race, open to over 13s, which includes multiple challenges to overcome.
With fun for all the family, Tough Mudder Kids, open to children aged six-12, features a newly designed 1.6k obstacle mud run. A special ladies-only heat, meanwhile, will also be run for both the 5k and 10k courses.
Mudders can also look forward to signature obstacles including the ice-based Artic Enema which is set to provide an extra dose of adrenaline. Furthermore, participants can enjoy an electrifying atmosphere in the Mudder Village, with live music and a selection of culinary delights.
The Jeddah event is followed by Tough Mudder Dammam at Khobar Lakes, which is scheduled for Friday February 2.
Tough Mudder Infinity AlUla, an eight-hour endurance race which is the first of its kind in the region, will then be held on Saturday February 24, featuring the biggest prize pot in obstacle course racing history with $480,000 on offer.
