Careem, the leading multi-service app in the region, partners with the Saudi Ministry of Health to deliver free flu vaccines once again in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, and Damman, just in time for the region’s coldest months.
Available completely free via the Careem app until the 2nd of December, customers can order the flu vaccine in the comfort of their own home in five simple steps. The vaccine is administered by medical professionals from the Saudi Ministry of Health (MOH). The Ministry has stationed two professionals in 14 medical centers across the Kingdom – six in Riyadh, two in Jeddah, two in Makkah, two in Madinah, and two in Dammam. The vaccine administrators can be booked and delivered by a Careem Captain between 4PM and 9PM each day.
Careem’s flu vaccine delivery initiative, which was first launched in 2016, is helping the Ministry of Health’s goal of boosting the immunity of the community against potentially severe illness as well as life-threatening complications associated with the seasonal influenza disease.
Abdulla Elyas, Careem’s Chairman of Saudi Arabia, commented: “The health of our customers is very important to us, so we’re thrilled to once more be able to help the Saudi Ministry of Health to deliver the flu vaccine across the Kingdom. Careem’s services have been simplifying our customers’ lives for years, delivering vaccines, medical tests, and pharmacy orders, ensuring prevention, diagnosis, and recovery from numerous afflictions.”
