Almajdouie Motors, the authorized distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern and Northern regions, delivered the first batch in a series of 500 Hyundai Xcient 2023 trucks to its sister company, Almajdouie Logistics (MLC). The delivery of these advanced vehicles is in line with a strategic agreement to inject new units into MLC’s fleet by 2023-24. These trucks contribute to preserving a clean and safe environment, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. They also highlight Almajdouie Motors’ commitment to sustainable, clean, and secure transportation practices.

Mr. Almajdouie said: “MLC continues to strategically invest in new equipment to help us handle ever more diverse project logistics operations and keep pace with a rapidly evolving market. This shipment marks the beginning of a company-wide transformation that will further modernize our logistics business and expansive fleet.”

He added: “MLC is taking a proactive role in achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objective to achieve net-zero emissions by 2060. These environmentally friendly and sustainable assets align with international standards by supporting decarbonization efforts, and optimizing fuel consumption. In line with these commitments to sustainability, we are also preparing to incorporate hydrogen fuel cell technology into our fleet in the coming years.”

Mr. El-Gohari said: “Hyundai Xcient trucks feature advanced capabilities that will drive a new era of logistics sustainability and innovation. This collaboration with MLC is defined by our shared journey towards excellence, which goes beyond our shared name. We eagerly anticipate working together to elevate the efficiency of transportation across the Kingdom.”

He added: “We have conducted extensive testing on the truck since 2015, retesting it after some necessary modifications requested by MLC in 2020. We received final approval in 2023, making this partnership an extension of the company’s strategy to diversify its fleet to meet the next phase in the evolution of transportation.”
