Distinguished Presenter Sohaib Charair Joins Sky News Arabia

Sky News Arabia, a leading 24/7 Arabic news network, today announced the joining of Sohaib Charair as a prominent new addition to its lineup of regionally-renowned presenters. Sohaib will make his debut as a News and Program Presenter on Sky News Arabia platforms starting September 2023.

With a rich career spanning over two decades, Charair brings forth a wealth of experience in the news industry, and his appointment further strengthens Sky News Arabia’s position as home to the most exceptional journalists and professionals in the media industry.

Prior to joining Sky News Arabia, Charair was a leading news and program presenter at Al Arabiya, where he took part in a vast series of notable media coverage and exclusive interviews that have become renowned across the region.

Sohaib Charair began his career as a reporter for Al-Jill Newspaper in Algeria, before moving into radio as a presenter at Radio Culture Algeria, followed by his post as a news and program presenter at Radio Algeria International where he was awarded the Golden Microphone Award for best news presenter in 2008. He then made his first debut on TV as a news anchor on Algeria TV.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in media from the University of Algiers, and a Master’s degree in journalism from the Superior School of Journalism and Communication in Paris.
