It took over six months for Behnood Javaherpour and his team to finish this hand-woven and hand-painted luxury modest jacket which is the only piece in the world!
The spirit of giving is in the air this Ramadan as Behnood Javaherpour, the founder and creative director of the eponymous Dubai designer brand BEHNOODE, announces a silent auction for this limited couture jacket entitled Power of Passion hand painted by the award-winning Tunisian artist Slimen El Kamel.
The bid will start from EUR270,000 or USD318,000, and will be done through an invite-only online private event participated by BEHNOODE’s upper echelon clients from all over the world including businessmen, investors, art curators and art collectors.
The full amount of the final bidding will be directly donated to the Behnoode Foundation which focuses on giving back to the youth and children’s community in Nepal. By the end of 2021, Behnood aims to build a new school in Nepal so children will not need to travel long hours and climb mountains to reach their schools.
